Violence is the Language of the Unheard

This article describes a Power Laboratory in the Barry Oshry tradition that has a chilling relevance for the post–September 11 world. In this Lab, the "have-nots" behaved in a way that was totally incomprehensible to the "haves. " However, when the realities of all involved were understood, it was evident that the physical violence of the Outs was but a shadowymirroring of the systemic violence instituted and perpetuated bythose with power.
